Abstract

Warsztat Szewski [The Shoemaker’s Workshop]: Poland’s First  Bi-weekly Trade Magazine  was published in Grudziądz in 1930-1932.  Its mission was to stand by members of the  shoemakers’ profession at a time of grave  economic hardship. The paper served as  a notice-board for all kinds of initiatives  intended to integrate that community;  it also ran professional, legal and business  columns as well as advice on matters  of domestic science
